Ugh, isn’t this what we all want?
Well here are some proven and easy steps to get there!
But before diving in here, STOP!
Give yourself a break, no seriously, give yourself a break!
Please know that you are handling so much already and SERIOUSLY take count of everything you are juggling.
NOW - Grab your “to do” list and assign those tasks to the specific days you want to do them for that week.
My goal setting template is brilliant for this kind of thing as it helps you break apart your goal into mini tasks, which you should then go and schedule in your calendar.

1. How long does it take you to complete a task?
This is a really important step to your productivity planning.
If you had to write a blog, how long would It take?
If you had to organize a quote for a customer how long would it take?
If you are not sure how long something takes you to complete start to take note of this. First take a guess and then from there understand how long it actually took you and how you could have saved more time.
Consider this, If something is taking too long or it keeps throwing off your week you can then work on this and figure out if it is something you can outsource or maybe understand why this particular task keeps tripping you up.
Tip: Do not overpack your week!
If you have been crashing and burning and throwing off work because you just end up being so tried schedule in your FREE time first.
Schedule in a massage or an epsom salt bath, schedule in your creative project that gives you life. Maybe going out for a drink with some friends to take a break from the norm recharges you.
Whatever it is if your pattern is to crash and burn then schedule in the relaxation time FIRST.
2. Night before planning is a huge productivity maker and a procrastination killer.
You wake up and you have so much stuff to get done annnddddd, nothing happens!
You had the time but the day got away with you. Argghhhh.
For this I use my “Seize The Next Day” Journal.
It helps me to set out my main priorities, my schedule, personal development and more. It has no fluff and helps you get straight to the point with your main priorities.
This limits the possibility for distractions and helps you to focus which leads you to a more productive and restful day.
So plan some more the night before to have a more successful next day.
Planning things the night before can also lead to better habits as well as productivity such as better eating and hitting that water goal.
3. Create your work zone.
Firstly, whenever I have a task on hand I absolutely tuck my phone under a pillow out of reach, so that if I wanted to pick it up I would physically have to get up out of my chair and get it.
It is so habitual to just pick up your phone and start looking through it.
The simple ping of a text message can throw your day off so quickly and an hour passes in the blink of an eye.
It is so hard to break that habit it's better your phone is just out of sight.
Secondly I find a nice cozy space to work in and if I can't get that space at home I go to a nearby restaurant or coffee shop.
